Ryan is the Director at Iowa United. His main function is to bring unity and efficiency throughout the operation, combining the strengths of both the educational and basketball sides of the house. Among other things, he handles scheduling, accommodations, travel, facility and general operations. He also does some teaching in the school. Organization and being the “glue” are his specialties. His door is always open for any needs or concerns - or if you just need a caramel apple pop.

Ryan’s career experience involved 3 decades of leading outside sales at a local technology company here in Des Moines. He has taught, coached and assumed various leadership and volunteer roles in his local community and church. He and his wife Leah have recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. He and Leah have 6 children as well as 2 grandchildren and soon to be 4!
